So, below is a little info that is definitely not safe for work. It's all about Aunt Flo. So be forewarned.
As someone who's completely changed her life in the last few years, I've realized that many facets of my life were quite wasteful. From paper towels, to cloth diapering, and now that monthly visitor! I hadn't done much research on feminine hygiene products, but have come to find out they're not as great for you as they seem, and they produce a TON of waste. While some people may not be ready to go all diva-cup status, there is a way to just try a menstrual cup and see how you like it.
The Softcup is available through most retailers, so it's pretty simple to find. It lasts for 12 hours, and once you get the hang of it, it's not difficult to use. It looks intimidating, but you'll soon be able to maneuver it no problem. If I can do it, you can do it.
While I've made the jump to a Diva Cup, I did enjoy using the Softcup. It's an easy way to try the reusable cups, and it's much better than I thought! I was able to do all my activities I normally do without hardly ever feeling it. It's safe to do WHATEVER with while it's inserted, so no worries about it interfering with your personal life!
And thanks to GreenMomsMeet and Softcup, I'll be giving away a box of SoftCup to THREE winners! Enter below!
