ElevenCupcakes & Party! GIVEAWAY!!!

Monday, February 11, 2013

First off, I want to think my wonderful sponsors for making this awesome party happen.  Without them, it would've been a drab event!

First up is elevencupcakes.  The shop is owned by Holly, who saw a growing need for easy to create parties.  Here's a little about the shop:

elevencupcakes was started with the hope to ‘bring back the home-based birthday party.’ Founder and event designer Holly Boles had recently re-located to the east coast. After seeing the extravagant kids birthday parties that are now becoming the norm, she wanted to offer an alternative for busy parents. With a strong belief that you do not need to spend a lot of money to throw your child an amazing party, elevencupcakes was started to help take some of the stress out of party planning.

Elevencupcakes offers customized printable party guides, which includes everything you need to throw your at-home party. A wide variety of items are available for all of your children’s party needs. After a year, elevencupcakes is proud to have provided over 400 parents the products they need to plan parties for their children!

Holly also volunteers FULL TIME at a non-profit organization called "Not For Sale" which fights human trafficking and slavery!  When you work with her, you not only get awesome products, but you can feel good about your purchase, too!

For my party, she supplied me with an incredible amount of printables!  The Happy Birthday bunting, the party hats, invitations, games, food labels, water bottle labels, cupcake toppers, and tons more.  Not only does she have you completely covered on the supplies to make your party rock, but she also gives you a guide included in your purchase with game directions, suggestion, and photographs!

All these food labels were created by Holly-I just cut them out, taped the backings on and set them up!

The water bottles were easy to label as well-just cut and tape!

I did get the cupcake wrappers at the grocery store, but they were cheap!

I got the goldfish at a local pet shop, and the bowls at the dollar store!  SCORE!

Here's a picture of what the table looked like once it was all set up:

I made some tissue paper pom poms to decorate the doorways, too.

I had some of these metal containers left over from my wedding, so I washed them, lined them with wax paper, and filled with dirt cake!  They were a HUGE hit!

I borrowed the Elmo cake pan from a friend-decorating it was easy!  Just a tip: ALWAYS get no taste red frosting!  I bought TWO bottles of it for the two cakes I made.

The bunting would've been easier if I had a hole puncher-but i just used a needle and threaded ribbon through!

I didn't want to fuss with from-scratch cookies, so I made cake mix cookies-they're completely gone!

The punch was an adventure-I couldn't find blue kool-aid, so I used those little packets meant for a water bottle.  I put about 5 packets in a gallon water container and shook it up.  I tried to find pineapple soda, but again came up empty handed, so I used SunDrop.  I was able to find vanilla ice cream, which I put on top, along with some new (And washed!) rubber ducks.  Everyone loved the punch!

Eleven Cupcakes made this party SO easy to put together.  I had people asking me to plan their parties once my pics hit Facebook.  Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I have not been to a designer party, but I would love too. I love putting a lot of work into the details of making a party "complete"
